As a prerequisite, you have to have Time Matters installed and running on your workstations. Time Matters provides an excellent setup manual and free technical support to get the program on your computer system. Any installation problems or troubleshooting should be referred to Time Matters or your consultant.

The general purpose of the initial 2 hours of installation services (which is included in your first user license) is to help you get the Practice Template installed and to provide an orientation to its basic use.

Typically, the installation takes around 1.5 hours. In the remaining time we may be able to do the following:

• Work with you to install the Practice Template
• Review some of the optional setup parameters and help you make a decision on how you want to use the Practice Template
• Check general file location and DMS settings
• Add some administrative records
• Tailor lookup tables for firm-specific use
• Conduct a basic and general review of some Practice Template modules

The two hours does not include "retro-fitting' a Practice Template to an existing Time Matters site.

It will take the full 2 hours to get through our list of tasks that need to be completed. However, where possible we will answer any firm-specific and more general "training" or "troubleshooting" questions.

* The 2 hours of installation services, along with the the manual provided with the Practice Templates, will be all that many firms need to be fully functional. Others firms may desire and/or need additional services including basic training, data conversion, and additional firm-specific customization.
